Wow! What an absolute whirlwind of a weekend in Berlin. The time, preparation, travelling and energy it takes to shoot a destination wedding is challenging but it really is MORE than worth it. The chance to explore new places, meet new people and shoot in absolute dream venues is second to none.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to capture Caitlyn and Vanessa’s wedding day held at the perfect setting of Treehouse Berlin on Revaler Straße. First we started with prep in the beautiful Whiskey Room at the Michelberger Hotel with the talented hair and makeup artist Jean Michel Battirola. From there we made the short journey to the venue. The urban industrial backdrop of Treehouse and the surrounding area was very Berlin and perfectly suited to the couple. This set against the stunning feminine floral styling by On Cloud Bloom was the most beautiful mix!
My favourite part of the day was heading out with the two beautiful brides for a wander around the RAW-Gelände at sunset for some couple shots. We found some fab backdrops and captured some lovely quiet moments amidst the buzz of the day.
The love between the two of them was absolutely palpable throughout the day. This was complete with wonderful guests and some lovely emotional moments stirring up all the feels. It was a perfect celebration of their partnership.
Thank you so much to Caitlyn and Vanessa for letting me be part of your day, and wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! I can’t wait to deliver the full gallery to you this week!
